Once registered for FREE in SSiFM’s Business Directory, any company is eligible to become an Approved Specialist Contractor. There are many benefits to becoming an Approved Specialist Contractor, the most significant being immediate inclusion in our Ticket System whereby all Approved Specialist Contractors are considered for live work opportunities.
SSiFM have 3 Specialist Categories – Bronze, Silver and Gold
BRONZE – Approved Specialist Contractors
All Bronze Approved Specialist Contractors in SSiFM’s Business Directory have been through SSiFM’s On-Boarding assessment. We review insurance details, risk assessments and method statements and these documents are then uploaded to our database and can be easily accessed by interested parties through our portal. All Bronze Approved Specialist Contractors are also automatically included in our Ticket System and considered for live work opportunities.
SILVER – Approved Specialist Contractors
All Silver Approved Specialist Contractors are audited by SSiFM which gives further reassurance to potential partners using the Ticket System. SSiFM audit includes a client site visit and premises site visit. This is to confirm quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
GOLD – Approved Specialist Contractors
All Gold Approved Specialist Contractors have been through Bronze and Silver status however, in order to obtain Gold Status, the Specialist Contractor must obtain x10 positive reviews (feedback) scoring 4 stars + from work secured through SSiFM’s Ticket System.
In order to retain Gold status, this rating must be maintained. If an Approved Specialist Contractors is to drop their rating below 4 stars they would automatically drop back to Silver Status. This approach is designed to promote continuous improvement and helps to drive Best Practice behaviours from all our Approved Specialist Contractors, so helping to improve the FM Industry.

At SSiFM we take client feedback very seriously. Our mission is to push efficiencies and drive effectiveness into the heart of the FM industry. To enable us to rate our Approved Specialist Contractors fairly we restrict feedback only to works raised through SSiFM’s Ticket System.
Feedback provided by ‘The Client’ directly scores SSiFM’s Approved Specialist Contactors. As each score determines where the Approved Specialist Contractor will rank on the Business Directory, this is a great incentive for them to provide a high-level of service.
